OpenRT Gallery
The following gallery contains example images and movies for some
of the projects that have been done so far with OpenRT. However,
this list is by far not complete. Also see the publication list for
related projects.
Please note that many of the newer projects here are currently
submitted for publication.
OpenRT demo video
Feb 2003, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/).
This video features a collection of different clips providing an overview
of the capabilities of the OpenRT interactive ray tracing system.

Improved Version of our Interactive Global Illumination System
Jan 2003, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/).
In its new version, the system not only supports programmable and
procedural shaders (like Wood or Marble), tonemapping and
antialiasing, but also offers much higher performance.
While the old technique required to accumulate several frames to let
the system converge for several seconds, the increased performance now
allows to render even in high-quality settings at interactive rates.
For more details, see http://www.openrt.de/Gallery/IGI2/. You can also see a Video of the running system.
Oliver Deussen's 1-billion triangle "Sunflowers" scene
Jan 2003, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/)
For more information, see http://www.openrt.de/Gallery/OliverDeussen_Sunflowers
Global Illumination in the "PowerPlant"
Jan 2003, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/).
The PowerPlant scene (37.5 million triangles) can now also be
rendered interactively with global illumination.
New Images from the "PowerPlant" scene
Jan 2003, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/).
Now with three powerplants (total of 37.5 million triangles), and
with the capability to interactively change parts of the
model. Right: Now also with interactive global illumination.
Interactive Ray Tracing of Dynamic Scenes
May 2002, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/)

Interactive Headlight Simulation
Apr 2002, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/)

Interactive Global Illumination
Mar 2002, Computer Graphics Group, Saarland University, (http://graphics.cs.uni-sb.de/), together with the Numerical Algorithms Group, Kaiserslautern University (http://www.uni-kl.de/AG-Heinrich/)
